The thing that gets me through Indiana winters…
Is painting bouquets of SPRING!
This Winter, I started painting on an old canvas of an abstract painting I created many years ago that didn’t seem to go anywhere. My prayer as I began to cover it over was for spiritual refreshment during this time of painting. The long, grey Indiana Winters are hard, and painting is my opportunity to meet with the Lord to reset my heart and mind. As I painted, flowers appeared, reminding me that Winter is just a season that makes way for new life. The large painting, Winter Blues, inspired the entire series.
All of these works are painted on 2” gallery wrapped canvas and are framed by a gorgeous pine floating frame made by a local artisan. These are ready to hang in your home to welcome Spring. Giclee prints on paper and canvas are also available in the shop.
